Bavak High Speed Gates
The Fast-Bi-Folding-Gate, or better known and recognized as "the Speedgate" was
developed about 20 years ago to address the lack of space", by enabling the gate leaves to fold rather than swing, the gate itself required much less “space” to be fitted.
Bavak can justifiably claim to be the first inventor of the Speed Gate, in developing a true folding gate, that opened and closed much faster than traditional gates, as well as a secure shape and design.
It took many years before architects, security advisors and end-uses in the market
accepted this new design of gate, but today the concept of the “Speed Gate” has become more and more widely used and is increasingly a commodity product! Many of the competing designs are not built with security in mind, unlike the Bavak product, and we are seeing many look alike designs on the market.
Bavak focuses into the upper level of the high security segment and has put more effort and focus into developing product that addresses the issues of the highest security requirements. Years of experience in this sector, combined with product design experience, has resulted in the Speedgate designs we have today.
Bavak can today manufacture and supply Speedgates in all kinds of layouts and designs, still being focused at the high end, high-risk security market. These include:
- Bar-infill square and/or round tubular profiles
- Security glazing, transparent, glossy, mat, with logo's, etc.
- Wooden panels (cladding)
- Steel wire design, anti climb features
- Steel-sheet material ( cladding), single and double covered
- Ballistic cladded Speedgate ( BR = Bullet resistant )
